For a complete video of this ride please look to the link at the bottom of the page.

Buckaroo is a beautiful four year old mustang.  (Grant us, that these photos were taken during the winter after he has been out playing with the boys.  He'll look much cleaner in the summer, to be sure.)

He is a beautiful buckskin pinto with a great disposition and personality.  Buckaroo spent the summer of 2006 at the High Desert Museum in Bend, OR.

Being around people day in and day out has helped Buckaroo adapt to lots of different situations and has taught him how to handle anything.

Buckaroo has spent the winter months (the museum isn't set up for the cold weather) at Lauman Training.   These photos were taken during a training session at Lauman Training.  At this point he has had one month of riding on him.  He has had two weeks of riding out on the trails at this point.  During this lesson Kitty Lauman (the rider) was teaching Buckaroo to give to the bit when asked to turn.

Buckaroo will have had almost two months of ground work training by the time he heads back to the museum in April for his adoption.
