Lauman Training is presenting the first ever, daily Interactive Internet Lesson on how you can train your horse at home!

This program is difficult and time-consuming to maintain and we'd like to keep our prices reasonable.

  • Start your young horse with fantastic ground manners that will last a lifetime.
  • Introduce the pad, saddle, cans, tarps, buckets, clippers and anything else we can come up with, in a positive way to insure life long trust.
  • Teach your horse to respond quietly to the bridle and you on his/her back.
  • Show your horse how to confidently go out on the trails, crossing all obstacles, riding in groups or alone.
  • Prepare your horse to perform beautiful stops, side passing, collection, and many more exciting things.
  • Teaching your horse to do correct lead departures, flying lead changes, counter canters and spins.
  • Take your snaffle horse into a fully finished bridle horse ready for the show ring, mounted shooting, trail challenges, team penning or just the fantastic horse you always wanted but couldn’t afford!

     How It Works

    Lauman Training will show a daily lesson, 1 hour a day, 5 days a week, 20 days a month for a full year!  Taking your horse from greener than grass to a fully finished horse that will be the envy of every one that sees him/her! 

  • We have a two-year-old filly that we plan to use, her name is Fancy.  She is a red roan paint that we have purchased and she has had limited handling.  The first day will consist of getting her moved to our place safely.
  • We will video our work with Fancy and plan to upload the video around noon each day.  The lesson will be in real time, we will have a mic on so it will be easy to hear but we won’t be doing a bunch of editing. 
  • Once the video is uploaded, you can view it at any time, or as many times as you like.  It will also stay up indefinitely.
  • We will work this horse only while the video is running so there will be no hidden training so you can get the most out of it.
  • We will be working the horse in general 5 days a week, so 20 days per month.  If we are going to be gone for a three-day weekend we may work the horse on a Saturday and/or Sunday to make sure there is the 20 days per month.
  • Each show will be a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 1 hour.
  • We will plan to have a main objective for each month and label it as such.  At the first of that section we will show you everything we will need for training the horse that month.
  • We will have other people on occasion work with the horse so we can show a different view and help you get a better idea of someone other than us working the horse.
  • We may also throw in some Bonus Feature stuff on occasion, if time and opportunities allow.
  • I also have hopes to have members send in their video of working with their horse and I could critic that.  It is not set up at this time, just a plan for the future!
  • We are also open to ideas or suggestions that would help our subscribers get the most out of our teaching.
