Riley is a 1200 lb mustang that is a sweet guy but has an issue with pressure and has learned he can out run it! We have started working him off horseback so he is learning that he can't run away. He gave Sage a really hard time the first day but Sage was able to hold him so he learned that he couldn't get away! It will still be a long road for him to learn that he can't just leave when the going gets tough! I think that Riley has a lot of potential he just has to learn how to deal with pressure since life is full of it!

Billie came to us as a gentle, rideable horse but she had some bad handling and was afraid of having her face pulled on. She didn't under stand how to stop, back, collect, move her shoulders, etc. Basically she was rideable and gentle but needed training to go farther so she could be a competitive mounted shooting horse! We have now had her about 1 month and she is coming along well. We really enjoy working with her, she is smart, sensible and is learning!

From the owner: I adopted Juniper from the BLM 4 years ago, as a yearling.  She has learned to lead by following other horses, had some flag work done from the ground and she is moving over tarps and tarps moving over her.  She has had some trimming on her front feet but very minimal on her backs.  She can be a bit forward, head up reactions when left alone or feels pressure, especially around her head.  Only trailer loaded a couple of times.  We haven't asked her to do a lot!  In general she seems a pretty nice horse.  My goals would be to have her learn how to deal with being tied, saddled, ponied, responsive to all movements on the line.
